In the beginning, your ATL account is not verified. Verifying means, for the client, that he/she benefits from several advantages of our services as well as improves the security of his/her account.
In order to verify your account we need (i) one proof of identity (i.e. Passport, National ID card, EU national resident permit, or EEA photo card driving license)
and(ii) one proof of address (.i.e Utility bill (British Gas, Electricity or Bank Statement), Local authority tax bill, correspondence from HM Revenue & Customs)
Depending how long your funds take to reach us (BACS/CHAPS/Debit or Credit card). Once your funds have been received and cleared, we will send out the required currency to the recipient’s bank account within the day if it is before the cut off time.
However, bear in mind different currencies and time zones vary the time for the funds to reach and be cleared by the designated bank.
Most currency transfers can take up 2 to 3 days to be cleared and arrive in the designated bank account. You will receive a confirmation when we have sent out your funds.
ATL money transfer is an Independent commercial foreign exchange provider. This means that we buy the currency in bulk from the market at "wholesale rates" and then pass on the price benefit to our clients. This could mean a saving from a hundred to several thousand pounds (depending on the amount you purchase). ATL money transfer provides you foreign exchange at "commercial rates" as opposed to "tourist rates" that you get from your high street banks.

These can vary depending on the designated country and due to compliance checks. The majority of transfers you will need your recipient’s bank account details and the bank SWIFT/IBAN code.
Once your transaction is confirmed, we cannot amend your beneficiary details for security reasons. We recommend that you cancel your transaction immediately and create a new one with the correct beneficiary details. You can also create a new recipient with new details and delete the wrong one from your dashboard: "Manage recipients"

When you choose to pay by bank transfer, we need to receive your funds in our account before we can process the payment to your beneficiary. You will receive ATL's bank account details in your confirmation email at the end of the transaction. With these details, you can process your bank transfer from your internet banking or directly from your local branch
We have bank accounts in many European countries so you will need to process a “local bank transfer”. If you live in Europe, you can also process your payment to our UK bank account. In this case, you need to process a SEPA bank transfer.
In general, local bank transfer and SEPA transfer are free. However, some banks can charge you to process a bank transfer. We advise you to process your bank transfer using your online banking platform.
You will receive an email once we have received your money.
We usually receive your deposit on the same day but it could take longer according to the currency sent. For instance, GBP transfers arrive within a few working hours, but Euro transfers can take 1-2 working days.
If you choose to pay by debit or credit card, you will need to process your payment online. We will ask some standard information about the card (card number, CVC, expiry date etc.). If the payment is successful, we confirm the transaction immediately.
Please note that maximum amount for card payments on ATL's plateform is £5,000. You can make more than one card payment per day

When you pay us using SOFORT, we have the guarantee you made your bank transfer. We don’t need to wait to receive your money before we pay your beneficiary. The transfer is instant and you save time!

SOFORT payments are only available on transfers under €10,000

To pay by SOFORT, select it as payment method when you set up your transfer.
Then you will be taken to SOFORT’s payment system. From there, simply log into your bank account, and follow the steps onscreen.
Once your bank transfer is processed by SOFORT and your transaction is confirmed, you will receive a transaction confirmation by email and we will send the money to your beneficiary.
You can cancel your transaction if your deal status is 25%.
If your deal status is 50%, it means that your deal is booked and we have already purchased the currency.

No, we do not and cannot take funds from your bank account. Rather you must direct them to us. We simply facilitate the exchange and transfer of funds to your Payee.
